Businessman Elon Musk sent an “unsettling” message to pop singer Taylor Swift after the latter endorsed Kamala Harris for president, sparking online outrage including from his own transgender daughter.
Musk, who openly endorses Donald Trump, took to X to react to Swift’s statement that she will vote for Harris in the upcoming US presidential elections.
“Fine Taylor… you win… I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life,” he remarked.
The post of the X’s CEO riled netizens who deemed the statement “creepy” and an implication of “rape.”
“Did Elon Musk just threaten to rape Taylor Swift?!?” wrote one X user.

“Elon responding to tonight by telling Taylor Swift he’ll impregnate her is peak weirdo and creeper behavior,” added another online user.
Musk’s transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, slammed her father’s comment, calling it “sexist” and “incel nonsense.”
“Also, yes, I saw ‘the tweet,’” she wrote on Threads. “Heinous incel nonsense is in fact heinous incel nonsense. I don’t really have anything to add to it; it’s just abhorrent. That much is obvious and if you don’t see how, then you’re part of the problem.”
“I would just like to say to my audience members, don’t let people talk to you like that. It’s disgusting; it’s belittling and incredibly sexist. You deserve better,” added Wilson.
Musk, who has fathered 12 known children, is currently engaged in a custody battle with former girlfriend Grimes over three of his kids.
Meanwhile, Swift took to Instagram on Wednesday, Sept. 11, to officially endorse the Democratic nominees to her 283 million followers.
“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for Kamala Harris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader, and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos,” she wrote.
The “Lover” singer underscored that she has to be “transparent” about her plans for the elections after an AI image of her endorsing Trump made the rounds online.
