Donald Trump rarely misses any chance to speak about his 18-year-old son Barron Trump. And he never forgets to mention how tall and how smart he is and how he has helped him this election campaign by suggesting which podcast he should not miss. During the three-hour sit down with Joe Rogan, which was both taped and released on Friday, Trump mentioned Barron Trump on two occasions — once while talking about his first experience at the White House and then when he was speaking about traditional media and new media.
Donald Trump said podcasts, TikTok are a whole new world to him and he is now on TikTok. “Barron knows all about you. He knows guys I have never heard of like Adin Ross. I’d say who are they and he would say they are very big. You gotta do it. He’s very smart,” Donald Trump said.
The statement came as Jason Miller, a senior adviser to Trump, told Politico’s Playbook Deep Dive podcast that Barron’s recommendations have been “absolutely ratings gold. “Barron has been very involved in selecting or recommending, I should say, a number of the podcasts that we should do. I got to tell you, hats off to the young man. Every single recommendation he’s had has turned out to be absolute ratings gold that’s broken the internet. He’s done a great job,” Miller said.
The other occasion during the Joe Rogan interview, Trump mentioned Barron Trump was when he described the Lincoln bed which was as long as Barron Trump’s height, Trump said as he mentioned his son’s height (6’9”). The clip went viral as Trump said Lincoln was depressed because he lost his beloved son Tad. Social media users pointed out that Tad died after Lincoln but Lincoln did lose his third son Willie who died at the age of 11 and his death caused Lincoln great pain.
