Bacolod City Legal Officer Romeo Carlos Ting, Jr. has resigned from his post, effective Tuesday, December 17.
Ting confirmed that he informed Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez of his decision in November 2024.
In response, Mayor Benitez announced that Secretary to the Mayor Carol Joseph Chiu will assume the position of Legal Officer, while Chiu’s current role will be taken over by his assistant, Atty. Marty Go.
