The infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz Group has taken a significant step forward by implementing EE SAP systems as part of its digital transformation strategy.
Aboitiz InfraCapital (AIC), the infrastructure arm of the Aboitiz Group, has announced the go-live of its Economic Estate SAP systems (EE SAP), implemented by delaware Philippines, a global leader in delivering advanced ICT solutions and services. This milestone marks a significant achievement in AIC’s digital transformation initiative to drive operational excellence and innovation.
This digital transformation represents the most extensive and complex system implementation in AIC’s history. The go-live phase, which took place from May 31 to June 4, 2024, saw four parallel projects launched simultaneously. This strategic move underscores AIC’s commitment to enhancing its real estate business processes and ensuring long-term sustainability and agility in its operations.
The transformation involved the implementation of several integrated EE SAP systems, including Economic Estate ERP Implementation and Real Estate Leasing Operations (RE-FX), Real Estate Development and Lifecycle Management (RE-DLM), SAP Ariba Business Commerce Automation and Sourcing (Ariba 1.3), and the Core Asset Management System.
These systems will help AIC streamline operations, improve the efficiency of real estate portfolio management, optimize sales management, contract management, land development, and procurement, and automate business network commerce, supplier lifecycle, and sourcing. This will lead to better performance and cost efficiency. Additionally, the systems are designed to enhance AIC’s capabilities in maintaining and managing its extensive infrastructure assets.
The success of this project was made possible through the collaboration of over 60 dedicated professionals from various AIC departments, with the implementation support from delaware Philippines, the ERP system integration partner, and SAP.
“This project is a testament to what can be achieved when teams from different disciplines come together with a common goal,” said Rosette Carrao, Partner and Delivery Head of delaware Philippines. “The successful go-live of these EE SAP systems will not only streamline AIC’s operations but also set a new benchmark for digital transformation in the infrastructure and real estate sector. We are proud to have played a role in helping AIC realize its vision of operational excellence and innovation.”
With the successful go-live of the EE SAP systems, AIC is now focusing on initiating the second phase of the RE-DLM project, further solidifying its commitment to continuous improvement.
“We are thrilled to see our vision for digital transformation coming to life with the successful go-live of our EE SAP systems. This achievement marks a significant step forward in our journey to enhance operational efficiency, data integrity, and overall business agility,” said Raymund Ramos, Vice President & AIC Head of IT & Digital.
Senior Vice President for Customer Success of delaware Philippines, Simone Pigason, echoed this sentiment, stating, “These systems will better serve AIC’s clients and stakeholders, propelling the company to even greater heights. Their success aligns with delaware’s mission of transforming organizations across industries, particularly in real estate.”
As AIC continues to navigate its digital transformation journey, the company is poised to set new standards in the infrastructure and real estate sectors, showcasing the transformative power of advanced ICT solutions on traditional business models.
