The Art District Presents a solo exhibition by Vice Mayor Yul Servo titled, “Directions 6, A harmonious family leads to prosperity in everything.” 家和万事兴 (jiā hé wàn shì xīng).”
“We are honored to extend an invitation for a captivating evening celebrating Yul Servo’s potent artistic abilities,” the Art District Gallery said in a statement.
In his sixth solo exhibition, Servo the artist honors Chinese-Filipino heritage by reinventing his signature metalwork paintings.
His new style is a unique blend of abstraction and merges elements of modern Cubism, cartography (the art of map-making), and assemblage art.
The said exhibition opening will be on January 15, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Manila Hotel.
The exhibit was described as “an immersive event that showcases his Servo’s sixth series of amazing scrap metal artworks, a chance to meet the artist and discover the stories behind each piece.”
