THE Philippine Statistics Office (PSA) will open a Civil Registration System (CRS) outlet in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro in 2025.
“We are hoping to open it in the first quarter of next year,” Baby Jean Alid, chief administrator of PSA XI, said during the Kapehan sa Dabaw at SM City Ecoland, Davao City.
Alid emphasized that the CRS outlet can provide civil registration documents like live birth, marriage and marriage certificates, certificates of no marriage (CENOMAR), advisories on marriage, and certificate of no death.
“Nais talaga namin na ilapit yong serbisyo sa tao. Malaking tulong ito sa mga residents sa specific areas para hindi na sila gagastos ng pamasahe (papuntang ibang lugar na may CRS outlet),” she stressed.
For this year, PSA-Davao Region opened CRS outlets in Digos City, Davao del Sur on May 29, Mati City, Davao Oriental on October 23, and Malita, Davao Occidental on December 19.
“With the opening of the Nabunturan outlet, all provinces in the region will have their own CRS outlet,” Alid said.
Alid added that their agency also accommodates requests for Mobile CRS to bring their service closer to the people. PIA DAVAO
