Dumating na sa Lao People’s Democratic Republic si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. kasama ang delegasyon ng Pilipinas para sa tatlong araw na Association of Southeast Asian Nations o ASEAN Summit.

Ayon sa Pangulo, kasama sa mga isusulong niyang paksa sa summit ang tensyon sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at China sa West Philippine Sea.
