The BMA’s Junior Doctors Committee for England has announced that it will reballot its members for another six months of industrial action.
For the first time, junior doctors in England will also be asked to approve “action short of a strike” as part of the mandate for action. This encompasses any other industrial action taken to put pressure on the employer in a trade dispute but that does not amount to strike action. Examples might include working to rule or not working overtime.
