Acer has introduced two new projectors to its eco-friendly Vero product line: the Acer Vero PD2528ic and the Acer Vero PD2328. Designed for both business and consumer use, these projectors combine high performance with energy efficiency, making them ideal for those seeking to minimize their environmental impact.
Enhanced Image Quality with Gen 4 LED Technology
The latest Gen 4 LED light source boosts brightness by up to 18.5% compared to previous models, delivering up to 3,700 ANSI lumens. This makes the Acer PD2 Series perfect for home theaters or meeting rooms, providing vibrant visuals and enhanced color accuracy with support for 120% of the REC 709 color space, offering 1.5 times wider coverage than traditional lamp-based projectors. The 0.65-inch DMD chip enhances the contrast ratio to 50,000:1, delivering crisp and dynamic images, even in low-light scenes.
The Acer Vero PD2328 features a WXGA (1280×800) resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and 3,700 lumens of brightness, while the Acer Vero PD2528ic offers FHD (1920×1080) resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and 3,200 ANSI lumens. Both projectors feature Acer’s LumiSense technology, which optimizes image quality in darker environments, and advanced color technologies like Acer ColorPurity+, ColorBoostLED, and ColorSafe II, ensuring vivid and natural colors. Additionally, Acer BluelightShield reduces blue light exposure to protect users’ eyes from strain.
Eco-Friendly and Cost-Effective
Both projectors are designed with sustainability in mind, featuring Acer’s EcoProjection technology to reduce power consumption. When idle, the projectors enter Eco mode, dimming the light source to 60% power, and automatically shutting down after periods of inactivity. Lamp- and mercury-free, these projectors boast a lifespan of up to 30,000 hours and improve energy efficiency by 42% compared to traditional lamp-based models. Their chassis is made from 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, and they are packaged in 100% recyclable materials.
Compact and Functional Design
Weighing just 2.6 kg and 11.8 inches wide, the PD2 Series projectors are lightweight and compact, fitting easily into any space or mount. The Vero PD2528ic includes wireless projection and screen mirroring capabilities via an integrated Acer wireless dongle, allowing users to effortlessly mirror content from smartphones or PCs without additional apps.
Built to withstand continuous use, these projectors are ideal for public displays or exhibitions, offering up to 24 hours of uninterrupted operation. The built-in 10W speaker provides powerful audio, eliminating the need for external speakers. With HDMI 3D support, users can enjoy immersive 3D visuals in movies and games.
Easy Installation and Low Maintenance
Installation is simplified with Auto Keystone Correction, which automatically adjusts vertical distortions, and the Auto Ceiling Mount gravity sensor, which instantly rotates images for correct orientation when the projector is mounted. The sealed engine design also protects the projectors from dust, reducing the need for maintenance and ensuring a longer lifespan.
